Is thanking your donors a top priority?

Here’s a test: do you spend the same amount of time, energy, and resources thanking your donors as you do in soliciting them?

You’re not alone.

Join #fundchat for, “Is ‘Thank You’ Enough? A Fresh Look at Stewardship,” on Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 12 – 1 pm EDT. You can follow the hashtag on Twitter during the hour-long conversation, or you can use our live discussion page to participate.

What are your top questions about stewardship and your “thank you machine?” Pose your questions in the comment section below and we might use it during #fundchat. Check back here just before the chat to preview the final questions.

Here is this week’s line-up of questions:

  • Q1 On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being “highest priority”) how important is stewardship at your org?
  • Q2 How do you ensure your stewardship actions align with donor expectations?
  • Q3 Has technology changed donors’ expectations with regard to how quickly they will be thanked? How does tech aid your efforts?
  • Q4 Aside from standard “thank you” letters, how does your org recognize and thank donors?
  • Q5 Stewardship always seems to fall to the bottom of the list. If it’s such a critical piece, how does your org make time for it?

Q1 On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being “highest priority”) how important is stewardship at your org? #fundchat#fundchat
Hello #fundchat, great topic! #fundchatDiana Estigarribia
Have some #fundchat all-stars here: @lpdiversa, @wingrants, @dan_blakemore, @kathyhowrigan, @ggfundraise… #fundchatRick J Blount
A1: Stewardship is probably a 5, although I am working w client to take it higher #fundchatkim polzin
A1: Theoretically or in practice? 🙂 #fundchatKathy Howrigan
A1: 10 but how it has been done in the past (pre-Ligia) is more along number 1 :o( #fundchatLigia Pena, CFRE
A1: 10 no doubt. #Stewardship of current donors is just as important as #cultivating new #donors if not more. #fundchatJosh Hirsch
A1 One client gets it (10), another one doesn’t (2), another thinks they don’t have the resources (desire 10, action 2) #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
@rjbvermont Thank you, that’s very generous of you. Feeling’s mutual :o) #fundchatLigia Pena, CFRE
A1: 6. My position is supposed to be around stewardship but I only spend about 30% of my time on it. #fundchatJosh Gold, MNM
A1: at day job, it’s about a 7 or an 8; at small #np I am on board of, it’s about a 4 or a 5. #fundchatLindsay Kafka
A1: 10 on importance, more of a 5 on actuals. Striving to get it to a 10 #fundchatSylvie Labrosse
I find several say 10 but act like 2 or 3 #fundchatKathryn Taylor
A1: probably a 7 or 8 but we’ve made it a renewed focus for this year as our donor base has been growing. #fundchatJessica Green
A1: Just talking about this this morning. MUST be 10 – Retain donors = stewarding their gift (using resources effectively) #fundchatKathy Howrigan
A1: at very small #np where I volunteer, 10 priority but 2-4 in practice. #fundchat #fundchatDiana Estigarribia
A1: We say it’s a 10, but in terms of time and resources it’s more like a 5 #fundchatBeth Noble
number isn’t as important as that it is increasing #fundchatLeslie Kreinberg
A1: I find that many orgs like to think its a 10 theoretically but really fail on the practice side #fundchatSylvie Labrosse
A1: I’ve just joined the @WeissSchool in early December and #stewardship has been a major focus of my time thus far. #fundchatJosh Hirsch
@lkberg So good to "see" you here! #fundchat #OrangeHighSchoolAlumniDan Blakemore
@kathyhowrigan Also cheaper to keep current donors than to acquire new #fundchatbrendankinney
A1 If it’s already at 10, it won’t feel urgent. But when stewardship is lacking, nothing else matters. #fundchatStephen Abbott
Right: def. broader than "thank you" via @kathyhowrigan: A1: MUST be 10 – stewarding their gift (using resources effectively) #fundchatRick J Blount
@junoconsult How do we bridge this gap between aspiration and actual practice? #fundchatbrendankinney
A1: We’d have to say a 10. We definitely encourage our fundraisers to hold it as a priority. #fundchatFundly
A1: As many scores as there are clients! And I would assign 1/2s to their scores too for some that are trying so hard to improve. #fundchatDiane H. Leonard
@bethjnoble What obstacles prevent you from dedicating more time/resources to it? Any priorities that grab more staff attention? #fundchatJeffrey Martin
A1: If we don’t focus on #stewardship, why is a #donor going to give again. This is key to growing an organization. #fundchatJosh Hirsch
I already can’t wait for this transcript…great conversation so far #fundchatbrendankinney
A1: Hard to steward effectively when you can’t articulate the impact of gift. #fundchatKathy Howrigan
Often times stewardship is viewed as ‘non fundraising’ activity, if this doesn’t change, the theory and practice gap won’t. #fundchatBeth Noble
It should be top priority, but many assume once on board, always on board. Not the case at all. #fundchatRichard Freedlund
@jeffreyjmartin @bethjnoble Harder to focus than on cultivation because the pay-off isn’t immediate #fundchatbrendankinney
@brendankinney it’s a cycle: ID-acquisition-cultivation-solicitation-stewardshp. Donors hv a 5yr shelf life http://wp.me/p1i4Y9-4t #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
@kathyhowrigan Yes, agreed! This is the problem I face. Solution? #fundchatbriana
@kathyhowrigan or when you don’t know who to steward, especially in planned gifts #fundchatLeslie Kreinberg
Q2 How do you ensure your stewardship actions align with donor expectations? #fundchat#fundchat
Why yes, you are missing a great #fundchat convo happening right now about stewarding donors – http://fundchat.org/discuss #fundraisingbrendankinney
… and know your donors so you’re on top of things when a communications opp arises (re bridge gap btw aspiration/practice) #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
A2 Lower donor expectations. #fundchatRick J Blount
A2 – Understand donor expectations and sometimes you need to help their expectations be more realistic! #fundchatKathryn Taylor
A2– define donor expectations? amount of contact? nature of contact? gift outcomes? term is too vague #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
@JoshHirsch1 previous orgs and clients that understand where the $ is spent can articulate outcomes & steward effectively #fundchatKathy Howrigan
A2 Engage with donors while stewarding them. #fundchatDan Blakemore
A2 – has anyone surveyed donors to gauge their expectations? #fundchatLeslie Kreinberg
A2: Ask them! People appreciate being asked what is most meaningful, esp at beginning of relationship or after most recent gift #fundchatkim polzin
What I meant to say: via @JunoConsult: A2– define donor expectations? amount/nature of contact? gift outcomes? term is too vague #fundchatRick J Blount
Pay attention to them like they are small children that can get into trouble if you look away. Regular, if not constant contact. #fundchatRichard Freedlund
MT @brendankinney: Why yes, you are missing great #fundchat happening now about stewardship – http://fundchat.org/discuss #fundraising #AFPeepsJosh Hirsch
A2 You can usually tell if you are missing, meeting or exceeding donor expectations, esp on phone or in person. #fundchatDan Blakemore
@brendankinney @junoconsult My hypothesis: get senior leaders on board, find strategies to scale (esp. tech), revise staff evals. #fundchatJeffrey Martin
A2 Ensure that nothing undeliverable is promised or insinuated during ask. #fundchatKathy Howrigan
Does anyone know of a study or white paper out there on this issue about donor expectations? #fundchatbrendankinney
A2 as the great Tom Peters say– underpromise, overdeliver #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
A2: need to go beyon the standard stewardship touch points: thank-a-thon, donor reports, ect… #fundchatSylvie Labrosse
A2 Giving societies well-definined. #fundchatKathy Howrigan
A2: would love to hear more about surveys done around donor expections… I’d like to do that with our org. #fundchatSylvie Labrosse
@JunoConsult Remind me to talk to you after this. #fundchatRichard Freedlund
@dan_blakemore @kathyhowrigan– currently dealing w this w a probono who was told (not by me) that it was tax-d. #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
@kathyhowrigan Exactly. Also hard to acquire new donors w/o demonstrating impact. What barriers stand in the way for most orgs? #fundchatJeffrey Martin
A2: Define expectations…then do what you say you are going to do, when you said you would, and how you said you would. #fundchatDiane H. Leonard
@brendankinney I think I have some articles from grad school, I’ll add them later if I can find them #fundchatLeslie Kreinberg
A2: My ED always says that we should under promise & over perform. You meet the min. level & then exceed it, it goes a long way. #fundchatJosh Gold, MNM
A2 Articulate the difference between what you hope to do and what you promise to do. Small steps to a big picture. #fundchatStephen Abbott
A2: I ensure my donor stewardship efforts align with donor expectations by asking each donor to share their expectations with me #fundchatWilliam Pitcher
@brendankinney I’ll dig – I’ve surveyed for clients, but not done a white-paper/study. #fundchatKathy Howrigan
@JunoConsult @kathyhowrigan Wow, you have some of the best "in the trenches" stories! #WhenAreYouWritingABook #fundchatDan Blakemore
@lkberg Yes, at diff org where I worked we surveyed our major donors, used it as stewardship action #fundchat #fundchatDiana Estigarribia
MT @WmPitcher: A2: ensure stewardship efforts align w donor expectations by asking each donor to share their expectations #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
@WmPitcher in itself that is a stewardship activity! Brilliant! #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
@bethjnoble Here here. What’s the pressure point for changing this? Senior leaders? Mid-level managers? #fundchatJeffrey Martin
@dan_blakemore this comes from a career spent with start ups whose dads all know everything about everything. #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
@destigarribia @JunoConsult Smart piece on shelf life. Though I suspect the case is different for #highered–lifelong affinity. #fundchatJeffrey Martin
Read this blog from my archives. http://cnrg-portland.org/content/don%E2%80%99t-treat-your-donors-old-friends-treat-them-children #fundchatRichard Freedlund
A2: it’s easier to deliver on expectations with donor where proposals submited and measureable outcomes where put in placed. #fundchatSylvie Labrosse
@jeffreyjmartin I think we have to ensure those who pen the budgets understand the cost of NOT stewarding donors #fundchatBeth Noble
A2 the intangibles: transparency, prudent purchasing, asking your most regular and big-ticket donors WHY they give. #fundchatelaine chiam
@WmPitcher do you have a journal post about this procedure? Would love to read a step by step! #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
MT @bethjnoble: @jeffreyjmartin we have to ensure those who pen the budgets understand the cost of NOT stewarding donors #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
Q3 Has technology changed donors’ expectations with regard to how quickly they will be thanked? How does tech aid your efforts? #fundchat#fundchat
A3 We use @ConstantContact to constantly stay in touch with our #donors. It’s a quick and easy way to update them about the org #fundchatJosh Hirsch
A3 Email arrives much faster than snail mail, but both methods should be used, as well as calls or in person. #fundchatRichard Freedlund
A3 at sm nps tech has made stwrdshp worse-"cheaper" to rely on auto-thank rather than picking up the phone #fundraising101fail #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
A3 Tech has created safety net for "thank you" part…but has it really improved the stewardship? #fundchatRick J Blount
@bethjnoble Do you track & share data to do that, or is it anecdotal? #fundchat cc/@SylvieinToronto @ggfundraise @JunoConsultJeffrey Martin
A3: our donors have come to expect instant confirmations and tax receipts, not sure if this is is true of all stewardship #fundchatBeth Noble
A3: It certainly opens up more opportunities & creative ways to say thank you & publicly recognize donors. #fundchatFundly
A3 no cite, but I know I’ve read that post office still the most effective communication (other than f2f) #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
A3 I always make sure to follow-up with my #donors after a meeting. Email is quick and easy. Just one part of #stewardship plan #fundchatJosh Hirsch
@bethjnoble instant confirmation is great, but is only step 1 #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
A3: You can get an initial thanx out quickly. It’s an instant world- say thank you right away! #fundchatEphraim Gopin
MT @Fundly: A3: It certainly opens up more opportunities & creative ways to thank & publicly recognize #donors. #stewardship #fundchatJosh Hirsch
Yes: The upside via @Fundly: A3: Tech opens up more opportunities & creative ways to say thank you & publicly recognize donors. #fundchatRick J Blount
http://www.langleyinnovations.com/langley/543-emotional-return-on-investment #fundchatKathy Howrigan
@jeffreyjmartin we use retention as a measure to do this, but haven’t had comparable data to show impact #fundchatBeth Noble
A3: Used @Instagram while packing a shipment to a donor & she was excited to see it on FB. Tech creates new connections. #fundchatbriana
A3 Part of getting to know your donor is getting to know their preferred communication methods. #fundchatKathryn Taylor
@JunoConsult You’re right, as usual, on that one! Not sure how to change the "well, they got a confirmation" mindset. #fundchatDan Blakemore
@JunoConsult I always ask how I can help when asking for funds and in thank yous. For larger donors, I do gift agreements. #FundChatWilliam Pitcher
MT @easierthanchemo: A3: Used @Instagram while packing a shipment to a donor & she was excited to see it on FB. #verycool #fundchatJosh Hirsch
A3: Biggest challenge for me has been to bring in technology. Some staff still believe direct mail only way to communicate. #fundchatJosh Gold, MNM
How’s this for dedication #fundchat? I’m at dinner & joining the convo! Wait a sec- here comes dessert. Bye!Ephraim Gopin
A3: We’ve seen some amazing thank you videos come out of tech, a great way to add some transparency to #stewardship. #fundchatFundly
Sorry everyone, I have to run. Have a good chat! #fundchatLigia Pena, CFRE
Let me try that again – great post on "Emotional Return on Investment" – very relevant by Jim Langley #fundchatKathy Howrigan
A3: working at an environmental NP, tech has definitely helped reduce paper use which our donors like. Need to know your donors! #fundchatJessica Green
@Fundly Any good examples come to mind? For me, I spoke with an institution that posted thank-yous to Fbook during alumni event. #fundchatJeffrey Martin
A3: tech changes have allowed us to tell better stories through video – have the recipients thank the donors w out meeting them #fundchatBeth Noble
@fundraisinisfun Apparently not practicing mindful eating, Ephraim? #fundchatRick J Blount
@fundraisinisfun haha, I sometimes sneak into the chat during meetings 😛 #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
A3: I place a premium on thanking donors well, rather than quickly. If you make’em cry, you’ve done a good job 😉 #fundchatWilliam Pitcher
@JessGreenSD You can always use recycled paper for DM. #fundchatRichard Freedlund
A3: Understand & honor donor preference for communication (email vs mail) but still think of recognition for donor in all formats #fundchatDiane H. Leonard
A3: Using video, enewsletters, links to news abt organization – tech helps make it real to donors #fundchatkim polzin
A3 – we created videos to send to donors who aren’t able to experience their impact in person #fundchatLeslie Kreinberg
Nice metric. via @WmPitcher: A3: premium on thanking donors well, rather than quickly. If you make em cry, youve done a good job #fundchatRick J Blount
@ggfundraise we definitely do, and still use direct mail for sure, just less of it! #fundchatJessica Green
Balancing the #nprockstar teleseminar and the #fundchat. Learning how to continue building my brand and how to build stewardship at my job.Josh Gold, MNM
MT @DianeHLeonard: A3: Understand & honor donor preference for communication but still think of recognition in all formats #fundchatSylvie Labrosse
@easierthanchemo Love the idea! SM provides lots of opps–it just takes some creativity! Sad to see "bare minimum" as status quo. #fundchatJeffrey Martin
A3 Every organization should have their own #YouTube channel as a way to stay connected with their supporters. #stewardship #fundchatJosh Hirsch
Q4 Aside from standard “thank you” letters, how does your org recognize and thank donors? #fundchat#fundchat
A3 answers so far, summary: Above all, know thy donor. #fundchatRick J Blount
@WmPitcher As long as they are tears of joy, not sorrow or guilt. #fundchatRichard Freedlund
A3: Technology has helped with honor rolls, quick thank yous, hosted thank you videos, etc. BUT still need personal relationships. #fundchatKathy Howrigan
@katmtaylor Can you map to donor demographics–i.e., young like email, older like direct? And if so, have you reworked strategy? #fundchatJeffrey Martin
Ex. of "impact" page: http://www.dartmouth.edu/~alfund/why_give/areas_of_support/index.html #fundchatKathy Howrigan
@JeffreyJMartin @easierthanchemo but you need to do best you can w resources you hv. If bare min is it, then do it really well #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
A4 I have students call and personally thank #donors. Nice way for donor to be reminded of what they are supporting. #stewardship #fundchatJosh Hirsch
MT @bethjnoble: A3: tech changes have allowed us to tell better stories through video – recipients thank donors w out meeting them #fundchatKathy Howrigan
A4: yearly thank-a-thon, recognition events, bi-annual action report #fundchatSylvie Labrosse
@JunoConsult @JeffreyJMartin Agreed — I don’t have access to donor contact info so I do the best I can with what I have. #fundchatbriana
A4 Depends on donor. Some want public acclaim, others anonymity. Web or news for first, private methods for second. #fundchatRichard Freedlund
A4 email auto-response, phone call over certain threshold, seek out at shows/events, SM shout outs & greetings, more! #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
A4: donor spotlight in enews, invite to program events & receptions, calls to check in #fundchatkim polzin
A4: we need to get better at phoning and meeting with donors in a timely manner for the purpose of saying thanks. #fundchatSylvie Labrosse
A4: We’ve seen tweets, FB posts, videos, personal photos (http://ow.ly/h47Sc), blog posts – always great to see the creativity. #fundchatFundly
A4 thank you notes from those influenced by the donor’s gift #fundchatLeslie Kreinberg
@SylvieinToronto love calling it an "Action Report". Stealing this. #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
@JunoConsult the official name is Donor Dollars in Action… steal away 🙂 #fundchatSylvie Labrosse
@JeffreyJMartin depends which donor I’m working with – a small group of major donors, I just ask how they want to hear from me #fundchatKathryn Taylor
A4 invite donors to go with you to non-agency events of interest, too. #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
A4 Dinners/receptions connecting scholarship recipients to donors. #fundchatKathy Howrigan
A4: follow up question – do any of you provide donors with perks as a form of stewardship (insider information, access etc) #fundchatBeth Noble
@bethjnoble Cool idea! Are they of many recipients for the website, or of individual recipients to send to individual donors? #fundchatJeffrey Martin
A4 We tried a thank-a-thon for the first time this year, and volunteers loved it, too. http://shar.es/C2Ct5 #fundchatChris Donnelly
Dessert is served- almost worth missing #fundchat for this!!! http://instagr.am/p/U1cvtArBEa/Ephraim Gopin
@fundraisinisfun Love the chocolate notes. Enjoy! #fundchatkim polzin
A4: I like simple ways to put donors (in name, person, or both) with beneficiaries: Name on a student’s locker, etc… #fundchatRick J Blount
@bethjnoble we tend to share information with donors before it is public, sort of a "sneak peak" #fundchatLeslie Kreinberg
A follow up to Q4, how do you get your Board involved in #stewardship? #fundchatJessica Green
@fundraisinisfun now, that’s just mean #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
A4: Connecting donors to students (education) has dual purpose – stewarship & building "culture of philanthropy" #fundchatKathy Howrigan
A4 The best thank-you I give a donor is to show the difference made in someone’s life thanks to his or her gift. #fundchatWilliam Pitcher
@Fundly Any other innovative uses of video to engage current donors besides the thank-you? #fundchatJeffrey Martin
A4: A nice "Dollars to Projects" presentation: http://www.charitywater.org/projects/d2p/ #fundchatRick J Blount
@kathyhowrigan culture of giving so important. Struggling with this w new start up client #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
@JunoConsult @bethjnoble oops.. more like "sneak peek" #fundchatLeslie Kreinberg
If didnt have to do other jobs I’d LOVE to spend time w donors. Second a volunteer? She mightnt be able to answer donor queries #fundchatelaine chiam
@lkberg What do the videos show? Are they custom-tailored for individual donors, or is there one main one you circulate? #fundchatJeffrey Martin
@JeffreyJMartin @Fundly Here’s an example of what I did earlier this year: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKbQG2oMNcw #fundchatbriana
@JessGreenSD: topic of a cmte mtg on Fri! Interested in your follow up to Q4, how do you get your Board involved in #stewardship? #fundchatkim polzin
@JessGreenSD If Board is bringing contacts to events and recruiting, they should be thanking them as well as staff. #fundchatRichard Freedlund
Q5 Stewardship always seems to fall to the bottom of the list. If it’s such a critical piece, how does your org make time for it? #fundchat#fundchat
@avalon carve out time to train board or other staff. And if they don’t know an answer, they can just say that! #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
@heatherbach5 Yes — many were amazed they were being called just to be thanked #fundchatChris Donnelly
@JeffreyJMartin we interviewed scholarship students on what they would say to donors, how their life changed and sent to donors #fundchatLeslie Kreinberg
A5: This year, we are adding our stewardship plan to our fundraising plan. They feed off of each other. #fundchatJosh Gold, MNM
@fundchat The problem is that most don’t make the time. Always spending time on the next big event. #fundchatRichard Freedlund
@JeffreyJMartin an example of a generic one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swtgrCmZGkI&list=UUhVU3phCqeaytRnyuJn-g3A&index=2 #fundchatLeslie Kreinberg
A5: It needs to be part of the annual plan with buy in from everyone. #fundchatSylvie Labrosse
@Fundly: use video as icebreaker to start conversation w prospects; gets them engaged quickly & deeply #fundchatkim polzin
A5 Donor stewardship is not the last step in gift solicitation, it is the first step in securing the next gift. #FundChatWilliam Pitcher
A5 needs to be integrated into all activities #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
A4: include stewardship tactics in fundraising plan, so budget & time are allocated #fundchatkim polzin
@NonprofitGold My fr plans always included all levels of donor contact; ED wld then nix the outer edges (ID and stewardship) 😛 #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
A5: also needs to go beyon the standards for your org. Look at something new to add if it hasn’t been done or done in a while . #fundchatSylvie Labrosse
@rjbvermont Great example/link, will be stealing that. #fundchatDiana Estigarribia
A5: Stewardship isn’t an isolated event, it needs to part of culture & day-to-day mindset. #fundchatKathy Howrigan
A4 A great donor stewardship/thank-you is to ask them for their advice as a trusted friend of the organization. #FundChatWilliam Pitcher
@Fundly Very funny photo. If you can make the donor laugh, you’re more likely to get a repeat donation. #fundchatJeffrey Martin
@WmPitcher that’s also a great solicitation tactic! #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
@bethjnoble That’s a great question. Do you? #fundchatJeffrey Martin
Pumpkin yeast bread in the oven #loveworkingathome #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
@WmPitcher That is a big part of my strategy, William. #fundchatRichard Freedlund
@bethnoble why am I not seeing your tweets in Tweetchat? Keep seeing the response only 😛 #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
@JeffreyJMartin We find that utilizing video to tell your org’s story or show impact is also a great way to engage #donors. #fundchatFundly
@Fundly And it’s easy to broadcast it on social channels. Multiply your message’s reach with the click of a mouse! #fundchatJeffrey Martin
@easierthanchemo Really great video. Very moving. #fundchatJeffrey Martin
@jeffreyjmartin Thanks! @Projectpaws did a great job! #fundchatFundly
Have to run, Fundchat folks: Thanks to @brendankinney as always. #fundchatRick J Blount
@jeffreyjmartin Agreed! More potential to "go viral" as they say :). #fundchatFundly
@rjbvermont Good to "see" you! #fundchatKathy Howrigan
@JunoConsult Old fundraising proverb: Ask for money, you get advice. Ask for advice, you get money. #FundChatWilliam Pitcher
As this edition of #fundchat comes to a close, wanted to say thanks to everyone. Great sharing of ideas and challenges!#fundchat
Great chat! Off to watch @usfigureskating national championships on @icenetwork! #playinghooky #fundchatAlexandra Nelson
Must go make chocolate dessert – inspired by #funchat friends. #fundchatkim polzin
Thanks @brendankinney! Great to be back this week! #fundchatKathy Howrigan
This was a great chat for my first time – thank you all! Excellent info #fundchatRichard Redding
Thanks everyone and @bredankinney for the great chat and tips! Back to afternoon of grant research 🙂 #fundchatDiana Estigarribia
A5 donors: 1) care about beneficiaries, 2) want to know the staff delivering impact. Hence, sitdowns w donors at centre etc. #fundchatelaine chiam
My motto is, "You can ask too often, but you can never thank enough." #fundchatRichard Freedlund
Thanks for a great #fundchat today! And THANK YOU for hosting @fundchat. Diggin’ the discussion about #stewardship.Fundly
@jeffreyjmartin we don’t do this currently, and it’s on the idea board, so I was curious 🙂 #fundchatBeth Noble
